If you’re a scent freak, like me, you will absolutely love this EASY recipe that will fill your home with the smell and spirit of Christmas. My mom has been whipping up this easy Christmas recipe for years so it brings so many beautiful memories and family feels rushing through my mind and veins.  The water begins to simmer and the smell of cinnamon drifts along the walls and into every crevice of my small apartment home. It’s lovely, really. I ALWAYS have my candles burning when I’m home but this is an easy and inexpensive way to enjoy the Christmas scent without burning your $24 candles. This mixture will usually last a couple of days. When the water lowers just add a little more to keep it going. When I’m ready, I turn the stove off and leave the pot on the stove to reconvene the next day.  You’ll know when it’s no longer good because the smell won’t be strong enough to burn. This is also a sweet gift to give someone. Grab all of the ingredients and place them in a clear gift bag and wrap it with a red bow, add instructions, and a sweet note…the perfect little gift for co-workers or neighbors. Little things always mean the most. Mine will be simmering from here until Christmas, which is only 6 DAYS AWAY PEOPLE!!! 🙂
