Orange Obsession + My “The Greatest Showman” Rant

Shop This Look:

If you haven’t noticed, I am currently addicted to orange and I don’t see this relationship coming to end any time soon. Speaking of obsession, this dual pocket coat from SheIn is literally perfection. I’m not kidding when I say that you can style this piece so many freaking ways. I mean you can literally wear it to work if you work in a business casual setting or wear it with destroyed jeans and booties. You could even wear it in the summer with a pair of shorts and it would work. I am all about versatility and this coat is almost as versatile as it gets. As you can see, I decided to style it will a chunky turtle neck and black denim because the temperature was at 33 degrees when taking these pictures. i was FREEZING so warmth was my focus for this look. Everything else in the look is pretty basic because I wanted the coat to be the focus of the look. Oh, did I mention it was $18?! Yes ma’am. That’s what I’m talking about.

Today is my Friday and all I can say is HALLELUJAH. It’s been a cold and draining week and I need a little rest and relaxation. Chandler and I are headed to a beach resort to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. Woo hoo!! I told Chandler that we would be the ones that decide to go to the beach the only week of the year that Florida decides to predict snow. Lol It’s totally fine because to be honest, I would be completely content snuggling up, reading a book, and looking out my window to see the ocean. No complaints here. I will be vlogging the trip, depending on how exciting things are. If not, I will definitely be on Instastory most of the time (@tannermmann) and will be reviewing our stay on my blog following our stay. My Nordstrom package just hit the doorstep with a few items that I ordered for the trip so I can’t wait to share with you guys a few pieces that are amazing and won’t break the bank. The best kind, right? Sidenote, let me get a little distracted for a second and go off on a little rant…

The Greatest Showman. Guys!! This movie changed my life. I know that sounds so dramatic and a little cliche but I’m actually not exaggerating. It’s almost been week since Chandler and I saw it in theater and I’ve listened to the soundtrack all day every day since we left the theater. Something about that film hit me and I can’t seem to shake it. The story line, choreography, cinematography, and soundtrack…all perfection. I cried several times throughout the movie due to a rush of joy and overwhelming love. It was casted perfectly and the chemistry between each character made you feel like you were apart of the story. When you leave the theater you will feel like you can conquer the world, like nothing can keep you down. I watched it right before the new year so I’m on such a high and have so many plans for 2018. I want to go big or go home. I’ve decided that this is my year and this movie struck a match under my bootie. Do yourself a favor and GO SEE IT ASAP! Even Chandler is so obsession. We both can’t stop talking about it and YouTubing it. We will be purchasing it AS SOON as it comes out on DVD. UGH! I’m so in love with it. One of the best films I’ve ever seen! Okay, I’m down. Love you guys!

I can totally relate. I haven’t seen it yet but I know how moving it can be when a movie or performance resonate with you. I cry at almost every theater show or even kids recital. Something about all the prep and work coming together in a huge collaboration just gets me emotional.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s so moving and sends a rush of emotion that you just can’t find anywhere else. I appreciate the arts for bringing out the feels. ๐Ÿ™‚
